Re: Sentry 10V2T discontinued

Wouldn't be particularly surprised that it wasn't selling too well, owing to sentrys other very good offerings. it didn't fill any particular niche like the smaller sentry sirens nor did it offer anything over the larger battery backed ones. unfortunately it just wasn't popular enough. part of me wo...

Re: How to Listen to DTMF tones?

just as a disclaimer, while it is legal to listen to these tones DO NOT under ANY circumstance attempt to activate a system by replaying tones. While you probably weren't going to anyways there have been instances of it before. It will land you in serious trouble if caught, and we'd like to prevent ...

Re: Got no clue what this is.

that pole has something on it, but it just looks like an electric meter. Hard to say if it has other controls on it, the imagery is less than ideal.

Really? I though single tone Siratones sounded different. Can you share a video of one?

That’s odd, it sound like an analog Whelen ESC-864. Amazing recording though! No, sounds more like a pre-864 IMO. could be either a single tone siratone or a whelen pre-864. analog 864 has a more distinct windup rate. plus, if the video is from 1986, the analog 864 was not even in use at the time, ...

I agree with championsiren- the east coast has some pretty strange setups, for example this bidirectional ATI thing.
lol what even....
does it rotate? I would think no.
EDIT after looking back at the picture there is no rotator. Disregard my previous question.

Re: Floridian hurricane

Wow, the horn is absolutely massive! certainly much larger than I thought. Wonder how it compares to a WS-3000?
looks like maybe about 3 feet diameter. Larger than a thunderbolt by far, wonder if that helped them squeeze out 130 DB.
