Awesome video, the tones sound like the ones in my county.

Re: Post your Mystery Sirens here.

Found the bottom picture surfing the web; I've been gone for so long I don't know if it has been posted, my apologies if it has. My guess is a Decot.
The other resided at my department where the Model 2 now sits. I'm thinking it's a modified Model 2 or a GCS, possibly even an HOR, but I have no clue.

Re: Sterling Siren-Rotterdam, NY

This is a Y-10 without a doubt. I have Schenectady Co.'s sirens mapped here if you want to take a look.

Re: Updated info for Connecticut Sirens on a Schedule?

Well for eastern NY, there is a Sterling in Brewster and a dual directional Whelen in Carmel. That's all I got (right outside of Danbury CT).
Welcome aboard!

Unless it was left in the elements with no cover, I highly doubt that the blower is seized up.
Yeah, but the siren hasn't even run since the 1990s.
So it isn't the one in Independence(?), OH

Re: EOWS Siren Controller Differences?

I'd like to add that I think the yellow 408 was in Belleville, IL, but has since been replaced by a Whelen according to Street view:
