Here's my video from the T-121. I forgot to post it here.

Re: Post your Mystery Sirens here.

The Alertronic is also on the Piedmont side, so keep that in mind. IIRC I read that the Alertronic is only visible from the Piedmont side, not that it's physically located there. I could be wrong. Since this discussion is getting long, I would suggest creating a new thread just about the Luke Alert...

Re: ACA Quadren found in Thailand

Do you have a location for the Delta? This is a quick map I made of the system a while back. I think there are a few more in the system on the beaches, possibly another SiRcom siren. The Delta does actually have an ASC panel and appears to be on the regional system. https://www.google.com/maps/@7.8...

Re: ACA Quadren found in Thailand

Now THAT is quite the discovery. It's been known that ASC installed many E-Classes in Thailand, but never documented there was a Quadren! ASC must have been there longer. Also, I'm pretty sure that is a double cell. You posted this picture a little while ago: It's a single cell unit. The Quadren's ...

Sentry 14V-B With Ambiance From 8 Miles - Cuthbert, GA

Happy SWA!!! This was my first time recording a 14V-B. I wasn't really blown away by the SPL. These don't have the bite of a 16V but are louder than a 7V8-B. It fills the gap between those sirens pretty well. Man do these carry though, and that is really where Sentry's sirens shine. After the test, ...

Re: VC Summer Nuclear is Decommissioning their sirens

I think something that should be mentioned here is the likelihood of a plant emergency. While I do lean to having sirens as an additional layer of mass notification they can be excessive in the nuclear system, mainly due to the fact that the chances of a plant emergency are slim with the way they ar...

Re: The 'permanent' CTI thread

The French high tone sirens are 11 and 12 port and are typically smaller units that are marketed similar to how Federal and Sentry market their Model 2 and 3V8. The smaller ones from KM Europ and Pakita are 12 port. There are others that have been caught indirectly on camera peaking at roughly 515 H...

Re: VC Summer Nuclear is Decommissioning their sirens

While VC Summer will no longer be operating the sirens that don't necessarily mean that the sirens would be going away completely. What exactly is going to happen with this system when everything is set and done? There's a chance that the plant will allow communities in the area to keep various sire...

Re: Sentry’s new Voice sirens

I figured I'd bump this post to inform everyone that Sentry has recently discontinued the VR series. They are going to develop a new line of electronic sirens from what I understand. The series is no longer listed on their website.

Re: Jersey Village getting Sentry VR sirens?

That is a lot tinier than in the advertising pictures on the site. Much. I was a little taken aback. But I guess quality>size. So the spec sheet value of 148dB from the HyperSpike web site is a figure measured at 1 meter, which is the standard measurement distance for loudspeakers. But the standard...
