Modern model 2 compatibility with a thunderbolt

So if I were to order a brand new motor for a model 2 I couldn’t put it in a thunderbolt anymore? Or is it a specific mo...

Re: Whelen WPS-3016 | Puyallup, WA (5/6/19)

Hmm... did they finally get to the bottom of what was happening with the fedelcode? Bad bearings right? Negative on that one. It hasn't been touched in years as far as I know. Hmm. That’s too bad. Also dude... I delivered to a customer in... fife? Tacoma? Somewhere... and there was a 2001 right out...

Re: Ritzville, Wa city sirens. (Model 5A, 9-port Siro Drone)

Looks like my motorcycle and I have a destination to go see... I’ll have to listen again but that Sirodrone sounds like it’s actually got 8 ports? Maybe it is a 9 though.

Re: What sirens have you worked on?

Dabbled with my own thunderbolt 1000. I’m debating on doing any work on my model 5 because I’ll need to machine an entire new stator if it’s gonna run again and I’m not sure if I want to do that... historical purposes you know?

Re: San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) former mystery/custom engineered siren FOUND!!!!

Looking at more pictures of them with the original motors, it seems that were in fact dual capacitor motors. Yea that makes more sense. Can’t wait to hear them buddy!!! Thanks! Good to see a lot of y'all still are interested in it, as well as the progress on it. Quite a few of people lost interest ...

Re: Anybody know how to hook up rotation on a thunderbolt?

There are manuals online. If you go to the page that has the RCM1 panel, I suggest reading that. Basically you take the required wires (the manual tells you what gauge and what not,) from the motor and connect then to the contactor in the RCM1 panel. I suggest using the panel (which I suppose is a b...

Nice video. I've seen tons of XT22s in person but never actually heard any of them in person yet.
Honestly they aren’t that loud but they’re beautifully harmonic.
