If I remember correctly, it can use the same type of starter my siren uses, a single phase 240V contactor with a 240V coil and a 60A rating for 10HP single phase motors. They can be pretty pricey. Federal Signal began production of the 2001-130 in 2006. I don't really see why though. The -130 and the SRNB aren't much different
