8-7-19 Chaffee Elementary School RSH-10 "Thunderbeam" Siren Short Alert Test, Huntsville, AL

aNKU7-NCi8Y After recording the Thunderbolt near Birmingham, I went back-up to Huntsville to catch Madison County's test. I met-up with MadisonCountySirens at the Chaffee Elementary Thunderbeam siren for this test. We chose to go to this siren, even though I had already recorded it a few years ago,...

8-7-19 Thunderbolt 1000T Siren Short Alert Test, North Smithfield Manor Greenleaf Heights, AL

pssmVOpyTyE Since I was off from work this morning, I decided to head on down to Jefferson County to record their monthly test, going after one of the remaining two (or three) Thunderbolts in the county. This siren is located just outside of Birmingham, a bit NW of the downtown (near the I-22/I-65 ...

Re: Post your Mystery Sirens here.

I think someone posted some photos of it in another thread on here years ago, but I don't believe there was any conclusion as to what it was.

7-10-19 Jones Valley Elementary School 2001-SRN Siren Short Alert + Silent Test, Huntsville, AL

ZGR7b9fuSPI Since the test last week was delayed due to weather (for which I was glad, since I had work at the test time that day, so I would've only been able to record another ambience had that been the case), I took the chance to go out and record sometime since I was off from work today. I pick...

Hats off to you. What a remarkable find. While it's a shame it's been FPUed, this is still, what, the third or fourth of these sirens caught on video?

Amazing find. Thank you for sharing.
Fifth, I believe, though one of the records of St. Louis's ones has been deleted.

Madison Co: Short Alert 1st wens of Every month So far I'm not sure What Madison Co. Al Uses for warnings.
Madison County sets off the sirens in alert for tornado warnings. I'd assume attack is reserved for an attack. Redstone Arsenal also uses their E-classes for other warnings as well.

6-5-19 STL-10 Siren Short Alert Test, Irondale, AL

O8rrGUutcTI Yesterday, since it was the monthly test for both Jefferson and Madison Counties, I got on up this morning and went on out to Jefferson County to finally get this guy in action. This siren is one of the only two STL-10s in the state of Alabama (as far as I'm aware), and I don't know whe...
