(Broken rotator) Federal Signal 2001-130, alert - Bethany, Oklahoma 8/18/18

I got a tip that this siren had a broken rotator... so I did the smart thing and set up right in front of it with no hearing protection save for my fingers. Sucks when I had to take my fingers off to fix the video, which is why the first half is in crappy quality, it was my backup camera (which I ac...

Oklahoma City Whelen WPS-2810 malfunction - 9/6/18

I'll start from the beginning. On Thursday, September 6th, I got a message from a friend asking if sirens in OKC were going off. I went outside and heard at least one.. first thing I did was check for cell alerts, which there was none. I then changed it to News 9 due to the fact if there was any goo...

Re: Tulsa, OK has a Whelen WPS 4008!

I guess that 612 will just be there for an eternity lol. As far as I know, that 612 wasn't ever used for their system, it was only installed as a demo from Federal Signal and the 3016 was too. They chose Whelen, the 612 lost it's controller and the 3016 went into service. Well, it will stay there u...

Re: Tulsa, OK has a Whelen WPS 4008!

Since this thread was revived again, I should mention I actually went and recorded this 4008 in Tulsa over the summer. Went for about a minute of alert, per with any Tulsa test. (Video on my channel: Valra Bellkeys)

(Special Tone) Federal Signal Modulator 4016, alert - Nichols Hills, Oklahoma 6/16/18

Well, this is one of my favorite videos in a while! The MCP controllers on this and the other modulator was recently replaced, and the sirens are now running the steady alert signal again. Anyways, this siren is set to 750/920hz, a very unique sound! I hope you all enjoy! This siren was impressive, ...

Re: Sirens in Saskatchewan?

I made this map a while ago, and worked on it some. It is far from complete, but it is better then nothing. I added 3 more locations thanks to the user above, Austen_lyon123. I will appreciate it greatly if you have a location that I am missing, that you private message me the location! I hope you e...

Federal Signal 2T22, alert - El Reno, OK 3/31/18

Well, I've been wanting to record this one for a while, and you guys can see why. I'll give you a little backstory on this siren, a year ago there was an event down the street from this siren that I was attending, so I went to check it out. While I was there, I saw an old pole on the ground, this si...
