Re: Knoxville, TN sirens question

The rusty substation one gives a dead resemblance of stripes, The other one must've been repainted I guess.. I believe all of these were installed in 1952, so they must've all had the stripes, At least the rusty substation one, and the one next to the tall silo. Plus, the tall silo one has white out...

I have a couple of questions relating to the B-Series;
What is the purpose of the wire leading from the rotator to the chopper unit?
And because it's a B-Series would the A in the type of blower be replaced with a B?
Keep in mind, A-series is 3 phase, and B-series is single phase

Re: West shore services shipping?

No, it would be WAY too expensive, and it is very heavy, unless you want to pay an extremely high price

Re: Genuine "Jailbar?" Bumblebolt found in Sault Ste. Marie, MI

Someone who lives in or near that area should venture out and see if that siren is still standing and active It's been inactive for years. Power is cut and the controls and blower are long gone. Ty Bellfy actually told me it's used for the race track, I'm not sure I believe him, he told me it's wir...

Re: "Jailbar" Thunderbolt Locations

You should probably say it has stripes in the description of the pinmark

Weird that it is out in the middle of nowhere like that. Sure is a shame that whenever we find something possibly rare like this the street view hasn't been updated in 10 years. I do have a feeling that this may possibly be the one Ty Bellfy did a walkaround of in 2011. https://www.youtube.com/watc...

This one has stripes, and I found out this one is the same one Ty Bellfy did a walk-around of in 2011
