The 2001 DC/AC Siren has a 'blockier' intake cone with the screen, the 2001-SRN/SRNB siren has a 'smoother' intake cone, and the 2001-130 has a taller rotator box. Personaly, I don't like the 2001 series siren because of the 750hz pitch. Just seriously? I thought Federal Signal knew that the lower the pitch, the further it carries. It's hard to believe the 2001 series siren can even be heard up to 1 Mile. I'm sorry if this does not apply to you all, but that's...

I've got a picture of some sort of electronic siren with many horns. I was looking at MN's siren map when I noticed the unknown model. I was trying to look at the many allertors there. It is right next to United Sugars, so it is possible that it is for fires at the silo(?) anyway, I found it intere...

They cut off because they are equipped with solenoids. For some reason, most, if not all of the sirens in Japan have the feature.
