I got in contact with the guy who made these gems and He told me that he hasn't worked there since like 2004. Im still waiting for him to call me back and tell me how they worked. His name is John Glenn Powell. He might even have a spare unit ,but hopefully they are all in one piece somewhere saved.

Bump. I scored a restored Darley Model 2 off of eBay for $325! It's also 120 volts which aren't that common ,so I'll post some pictures of it when it comes.
