Conneaut Lake, PA Area Siren Testing Schedules?

Hey y'all, This summer I'm going to be doing multiple trips out east to my parents' new house in Conneaut Lake, PA, and since I'm not overly familiar with the area, I'm looking for help on when and where siren tests occur out there. I'm mainly looking for info on the fire sirens, as I'm somewhat fam...

Re: Peach bottom siren maps?

I think this is the best we have at the moment. I've got 71 of the 97 mapped so far, and I could definitely use some help finding the rest of them. Note, I have all the locations marked as what the old siren was. All are now T-128s. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1zrAK6uwyBTtVSvKP1Ax8lMR3ZdjD2Mjp&...

Decatur, IL Siren Ambiance, RM-130s, 2001s, and a T-128

This may be my second favorite ambiance recording that I've done, 2nd only to the Hamilton ambiance I did on the 4th of July.

Perry Nuclear Siren Map

With Noxfest being today, I decided to try and find more of their system, since were only less than 10 left to find. What I did not expect was to catch a lucky break, and find this document on this NRC website. https://www.nrc.gov/docs/ML1627/ML16274A062.pdf Since I found that and spent about an hou...

Re: HOR, Thunderbolt, and 508 Ambiance Hamilton, OH

For this I used my main Canon Vixia HF-R700. I also have some generic audio recorders as well, but I wasn't going to use those for this recording.

From where I was standing, I was .4 miles from the HOR, .6 miles from the Thunderbolt, and 1.1 miles from the 508.

HOR, Thunderbolt, and 508 Ambiance Hamilton, OH

I know I don't post many of my videos here anymore, but this was definitely one of the best tests I have ever gone to.

Re: Help Finding Byron Exelon sirens

I meant to post this a while back, but I figured I'd post it now. All of Byron's P-15s were replaced last year with T-128s, and surprisingly, the E Classes were replaced too! I'm not sure why Exelon ever installed those in the first place since I never figured they'd use electronic sirens after 2010...

Re: 4 P-15s and 3 T-128s from Byron Exelon

Dennis is correct. I have 6 audio recorders I hide so I can record more sirens than I could with just my main camcorder. I'm especially using them here because the P-15s in this system are going to be replaced sometime this year with most likely T-128s. This is also a reason I love nuclear systems l...
