For this I used my main Canon Vixia HF-R700. I also have some generic audio recorders as well, but I wasn't going to use those for this recording.

From where I was standing, I was .4 miles from the HOR, .6 miles from the Thunderbolt, and 1.1 miles from the 508.

I know I don't post many of my videos here anymore, but this was definitely one of the best tests I have ever gone to.

I meant to post this a while back, but I figured I'd post it now. All of Byron's P-15s were replaced last year with T-128s, and surprisingly, the E Classes were replaced too! I'm not sure why Exelon ever installed those in the first place since I never figured they'd use electronic sirens after 2010...

Here is my last trip to Byron Exelon for the year (except for maybe December), and I managed to get the last 5 unfilmed P-15s in the system. I also recorded a T-128 and an E-Class.

Dennis is correct. I have 6 audio recorders I hide so I can record more sirens than I could with just my main camcorder.
