I have to wonder how the sirens around the county are numbered now, if the one on Slaughter road is Siren # H-56.

The H stands for Huntsville, since that siren sits (although only by a few feet) in the city of Huntsville and Huntsville pays for the maintenance.

Madison does pay for the maintenance of their own sirens with us monitoring them and activating them. The siren above is a Huntsville siren. Site H-56.
