I don't know, New Jersey has quite a few itself. All H's though. Never seen a single L in the Garden State.

It came with its benefits however; I had no idea who this man was until I stumbled upon this topic. That said, tardiness be damned, RIP, Mr. Gosswiller.

I find it odd that they'd even bother to run a siren on gasoline. I can see that it might have been cheaper in the 50s, 60s and 70s but Gas prices have skyrocketed from this BP mess and Propane is more of the same. I'd just stick with 240 volts of sheer 3 phase electricity. I have had my enc...

Has anyone ever confirmed a Hurricane in the wild as having a port ratio other than 8/10? I don't think anyone has. Personally though, I wouldn't mind hearing one in 9/12. Lot of sirens used 9/12, this thing would sound just beastly with 8/12. BUT WHO CARES, IT'S A HURRICANE MK I WHAT IS THIS? [awe...

Rhett: There is no streetview there, just birds-eye. The satellite picture was taken in 2003 and is pretty much worthless. The3t22sOfUSA: That to me looks like a GCS Model 5 with custom made horns. I think the Model 5 takes the cake, easily, for the 'most-modified' siren around. I've seen at least ...

Well, there's always the possibility of different sirens having different owners/controllers and being activated for different reasons.

Just saying.

I really can't wait to see another Thunderbolt rescued. If it ends up being restored, reinstalled and reactivated, all the marrier! :D
