The sirens went off for the warning (HiLo) then there was an all-clear (alert). One odd thing is that when they went off twice for 2 tornadoes but...

Re: Question about ACA Hurricane motor

Thanks for the info! I have a project that needs a motor similar to the one found in the Hurricane, but the motor I was originally going to use was in rough shape and the windings were also really bad.

Question about ACA Hurricane motor

This is just a quick question. Was the chopper motor found in the MK2 Hurricane a motor specially made for the Hurricane or was it just a random motor? And if possible, what brand was the motor?

Re: What type of siren is this?

You are correct, that is an E.A Laboratories Sireane Jr. From my research, some came with 12 ports and some had 8.

Re: Minnesota Siren in a Video

Although the video seems fake, it sounds like a Federal Signal STH-10

Re: Mystery Fire Truck Siren

That siren appears to be a Federal Signal Model 77L. A quite rare siren. But the fins on the side look more like the ones from a Model 78. The siren could have been a little modded at some point due to those different fins. The Model 78 is shaped a little differently than a 77L.

Here is a Model 78:
