Re: 1986 ACA Alertronic 6000R

Forget the 6000. That's a mighty rare varient of the 4000 there it seems. Looks like one of the ones that's essentially 4 DSA style arrays mounted on what we would consider to be a "normal" Alertronic structure. I've only ever seen those in the ad below (and even then I didn't know they ac...

Re: Madison County KY Siren Replacement & General History

That's funny because a city nearby me is doing the exact opposite. They're replacing a decade old system of T128's with Whelen's lol. Definitely older than a decade judging by the fact they still have the blue/white ASC logo. Think they stopped that ~2005. Also, may as well tell them to order a spa...

Re: Lansing, Michigan, To Replace ALL Thunderbolt 1000Ts

I don't know why they haven't replaced it with a new Mod yet! Because it has dead batteries  Already said that. I’m aware you already said that. What I was telling you subtly, now bluntly, is that it’s a stupid question to ask why they haven’t replaced it with a brand new siren when all it ne...

Is this the first Clarity in the wild? I was beginning to think it was "vaporware"

Re: Milwaukee siren system being redone.

Every single siren in the current system with the possible exception of the hurricane will be replaced. Even the newer 128s. Now that this upgrade is presumably underway, do we have any idea about what is going in? The internet seems silent and I can't locate any government documentation about an u...

Re: Milwaukee siren system being redone.

I do not have a date for when the project is due to start, but yes. Milwaukee County is replacing their system, many of the sirens are already spoken for. The Hurricane is going to be a separate project and will not be going away anytime soon. Like stated in the above post, do not harass those invo...

Re: Milwaukee siren system being redone.

Okay this post STILL makes no sense. 1) The subject says the system is being redone, implying Milwaukee will keep sirens, just replace its fleet of P-50s. Which makes sense; those fiberglass shrouds are just crumbling. But it has newer sirens (T-121s, T-112s, T-135 AC/DC, etc). Do those go, too? 2) ...
