Re: What is your favorite port combination on a siren?

No doubt 8/12. It sounds the creepiest, especially when it’s reverse wired (higher pitched). I also like 10/15(also sounds like 8/12) 7/10, 8/10, and 10/12. But, 9/12 sounds like an electric guitar cord.

Re: Thunderbolts in existence

In Brillion Wisconsin, there is a Jailbar Thunderbolt, but I’m not sure whether it’s a Thunderbolt 1000 or 1000T.

This is really cool, is this siren still in use? What is/was it used for?
Nope, there's a new Whelen 2910 about 500 feet northeast of where that Cyclone. The Cyclone itself is shut off.
Darn, I wish I could record that old Cyclone...

One of the BEST 3T22 recordings I’ve seen. Nice job.

Re: Fedelcode Model 1

I am pretty sure this is a Model 1, or some other siren, and the location of the siren is in Kansasville, Wisconsin.

Madison, Wisconsin Getting 4 New Sirens

I’m probably one of the first people to know this, but the City of Madison, Wisconsin (where I practically live) is getting 4 new ASC Sirens, and according to the Dane County Emergency Management Agency, the four sirens will be located in these locations: 1. Near the new water tower at 10451 Old Sau...

Amazing sound. I wish those kinds of sirens were common! Very weird design though.

Amazing! I’m really jealous ‘cause all we have here in Mad City is Modern Sirens.
