Re: Post your Mystery Sirens here.

Found this one in Newark, NJ on 2nd Ave between N12th and N 13th streets. As of August 2017 it is still located at this spot. I thought it was a Model 20 but it looks kinda small. Any thoughts? Re: Abandoned siren thread

Odd sirens to be decommissioned but Lyndhurst, NJ's 5 Whelen 4004s and 1 2807. I'll try to post pictures if I'm going thru that area.

Re: North Jersey Sirens

Both those HORs are in ironbound. I never knew that they were in those locations I've passed there frequently. The only ones I've seen are the Rusted out one at the corner of Market and Broad and a Factory mounted Thunderbolt in North Newark off route 21.

Thanks for all the replies guys. From what I've heard the official line between north and south jersey is I 195 lol  . I never knew Morris county had such an array of sirens! Just thought it was the more populated areas like Bergen, Essex, Etc.

North Jersey Sirens

Hi everyone, I have been looking for a place to discuss sirens for a long time. I'm from Northern New Jersey and don't know if there are many enthusiasts up here but there a ton of systems operational and non-operatonal. The ones I have seen are as follows: Newark: Thunderbolt, Model 5 East Orange: ...
