Re: AT&T "Bell and Lights" Civil Defense alert system

This reminds me of a weird multicolor light setup that was in the Macy's (formerly Dayton's) in downtown Minneapolis before it closed. There were a few of these lights on the ceilings (this one shown was on the top of an escalator) and I was never able to figure out what they were for. These have a ...

Re: dual tone ASC OM-117 ?

Whatever the case was with this, it has unfortunately been replaced. If you go to the next street over there's a T-128 in the 2018 street view.

This is an absolutely amazing find, thank you for bringing it to us. I'd be curious to see more pictures of the coding mechanism itself whenever that becomes an option.

Re: The weirdest sirens ever seen.

These two reminds me of that one H.O.R. Super Si-Rex that was mounted on a platform that had cellphone antenna arrays plastered on it, I unfortunately cannot remember where it was. (says, if this jogs anyone's memory, please do chime in if you know about this particular unit). I really like how the...

Re: The weirdest sirens ever seen.

While these are quite mild compared to some of the insanity that has been posted in this thread, there's quite a few interesting installs in the Twin Cities area. Here's a few that come to mind. 1. A Thunderbolt mounted on a cell tower. The blower pipe is run through the inside of the tower. It's be...

Could you post more images of the solenoid housing along with a measurement of the intake?

First video recording of one of these as far as I'm aware (unless you count the butchered one that was in Cadott WI).

Enjoy!

Re: ukranian siren ambience

What an awful situation to have a siren recording from. I almost want to say whatever it is, it sounds like it could be 8/16 port.

Re: Any theories of any Square horn ACA Hurricanes in different countries?

At some point, a square horn Hurricane was shipped to a Klaxon dealer in South Africa (Klaxon and ACA were business partners) as a display model, but it's unlikely/unknown if it or any others were actually installed anywhere. I have a saved FB post from someone who knows more about this. I'll find a...

Re: My WeatherDefender Model Info

With all due respect, I find this a little hard to believe without any pics or other evidence to show for it.
