Dabbled with my own thunderbolt 1000. I’m debating on doing any work on my model 5 because I’ll need to machine an entire new stator if it’s gonna run again and I’m not sure if I want to do that... historical purposes you know?

There are manuals online. If you go to the page that has the RCM1 panel, I suggest reading that. Basically you take the required wires (the manual tells you what gauge and what not,) from the motor and connect then to the contactor in the RCM1 panel.
