Re: Franklin County, Ohio Siren Discussion

Can we confirm that McCoy Park's WPS-4004 has the analog ESC-864 that came off of McCord Parks's WPS-3016? Cutoff pitch is the exact same, and both had their controllers swapped at around the same time period. The one at McCord had the 2030 by the time I recorded it in April of 2014. I'm not sure e...

Re: Sick Thunderbolt 1000 in Plymouth, MI?

I do believe you are talking about ex-YouTuber el1998p71 (Eric Laskowski). He did film a lot of sirens around the Lake Erie area especially the old and mostly forgotten sirens of Metro Detroit and in Detroit. He did make videos around that era of 2007-2016 roughly. He also had his channel deleted d...

Sick Thunderbolt 1000 in Plymouth, MI?

Does anyone by chance have the video from 2007 of that horribly sick 1000 in Plymouth Twp, MI where the chopper seized up while doing attack? I've seen it mentioned on here a few times, but unfortunately, the guy who made that video deleted his account. If anyone does happen to have that video downl...

Re: Sick sirens!

Ah yes, the 1000 in Shawnee. From what I heard blue valley tried fixing it twice and then it finally worked. Sorry for the bump but what exactly was wrong with it? It definitely doesn’t sound like bad brushes or bearings. Was it a problem with the motor itself? It was bad bearings. Listen to the hi...

Re: Are there any more Thunderbolts in Franklin County Ohio?

As some already know, I got the last standing one from the west side of Columbus, but I remember reading somewhere about one still standing downtown near the arena district or something. I don't know... :/ This is a really late response, but I can confirm after living in Columbus for the last few m...

Re: Are there any more Thunderbolts in Franklin County Ohio?

I believe that's still active as I've passed it a few times this summer and would occasionally see it in a different position. Is it still there as of this year? If it is, has it changed positions at all within the past year or so? Sorry for the extremely late response. I've passed it several times...

Re: Are there any more Thunderbolts in Franklin County Ohio?

I looked up an article on Wikipedia called List of Thunderbolt sirens ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Ackdar/List_of_Thunderbolt_sirens ) and under Columbus Ohio it said one standing and is operational. If that's true, where is it at? I am posting this because I don't always trust Wikipedia. Ar...

Unionville Center also has an STL-10.
Do you know the street and the address of that one?

Re: Madison County, Ohio test time

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I'm wondering, do you happen to know whether the STL-10 in Plain City is working or not? Me and a friend of mine are planning on going to it this Wednesday for the Statewide Tornado Drill, but if it's not working, I'd like to know so I can change plans. Also, if you ha...
