we give our customers privacy if they wish to or not be used for references for other customers, this is something that many of my customers like as an option and if they opt out then I am obligated to keep my mouth shut on whom they are, so far they all opted out.

ok I see that your not finding any intel on Sioux Notification Solutions reason is were still listed by our old business name of Dakota Public Safety, & since our insurance rates are sky high I decided to change the company name from Dakota Public Safety to Sioux Notification Solutions based out...

Thunderbolt while a medium to high level maitenace siren when taken care of will last a very long time, just do annual oil changes & periodic belt changes.

it is not unheard of for a town to take a unit out of service & forget, most times its simply is overlooked & is eventually taken apart over the years. We had a similar town forget it had a siren & was discovered by a company (not us) when they went to remove some trees. its kinda funny ...

well we got everyone ASC, ATI, FS, SSI, & Whelen involved so the CEMD knows what his options are.
We (SiouxNotifications) prefer the whole thing be omni-directional

no, that thunderbolt 1003 looks about right for the requirements of the time of its installation, lot of sirens were round 35'-40' on installations cause towns were smaller.
Valley Springs sirens are mounted 35' (2001-130) & 40' (West & East 1003)
