Sounds lilke they dubbed in a T-128. Perhaps Nashville shall receive the T-128's? One could hope. :)

Do you know if the Tbolt is still in service?? Yes it is. My parents hear it and sometimes the Sentry every test day. You can also hear the Tbolt in a YouTube video of a large tornado that touched down there in 2007. I'm not sure if they still use the Model 5 for anything, or if it's even operation...

Maybe they should gold-plate the siren and then charge the complaining homeowners. Problem solved. :)

It would be nice if a spokesperson from FS would spill the beans. People would take notice of an 8 port 2001 more so than the 12 port 2001, which sounds too much like a Q :)

I would think it would sound closer to a sped up 500T 10/12, but with a quicker windup like that of a 3 phase xT22.

One siren is located north of the area (Moore St by the Grand St. apartments). The people that live in those apartments get a healthy earful every time that siren goes off. I bet that gets very annoying to them, lol!! <iframe width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scr...

Searcy has to my knowledge 6 Whelen Vortex's. The nearest one to Harding Uni would be the one located on Benton St next to UPS / Pro Med Ambulance. That particular siren I think is either disconnected or in need of repair. It hasn't moved since last year (currently pointing SE). The remainder move a...

THAT must've been fun...
I remember seeing a vid with 2 of those bank blowers running into a 1000 head. I bet it was loud! Don't ask me where I seen the vid because it was a long time ago. It wasn't on youtube.

Attack signal on your thunderbolt sounds downright creepy with its slow wind up and wind down!
Actually it sounds like a Carter with some growl to it!
