Re: Schematic needed for AR timer

Thanks for the link! My screen reader doesn't do well with PDF's, but I sent it to my uncle, who will be rewiring my AR timer. Hopefully the schematic is in the link.

My Model D and another Louisville, KY Thunderbolt 1000T

Here are two videos from yesterday. The first one is of the first full power run of my Model D since I bought it. The second one is an audio recording I did of the Thunderbolt 1000T at Olmsted Academy North. I chose to rerecord this one because I had heard that since it was taken off the platform an...

WHAS's coverage of the 1996 Bullitt County, KY F4 tornado

This is not my recording. This aircheck from Louisville's WHAS radio features coverage of the May 28, 1996 Bullitt County, KY F4 tornado, and of other warnings that were going on at the time. There are several activations of the old Emergency Alert System, WHAS's Constant Alert Tone for tornado warn...

Re: Real or Snyth?

Yes, Nick has the best siren synths by far. Love how he's got the Whelens and the thunderstorm in the background in this one. He has the wind Doppler effect down, too.

Re: Fedelcode, 1000T, 1000, Model A, and Model L

Hey josh thanks for getting recordings of those particular sirens of mine, i really appreciated you coming down to my uncles place to see them. Thanks for taking me down there yesterday. I sure had a lot of fun. Hopefully we can go up to Cincy this Summer and I can finally get a 5/6 port Tbolt of m...

Fedelcode, 1000T, 1000, Model D, and Model L

I met up with a siren collector named Jon who lives here in Louisville, KY, who has some sirens stored at his uncle's house in a shed in Elizabethtown. There's a 4/5 port 1000T and a 1000, both from Cincinatti's old system, a Model D, a 240V Model L, and a Fedelcode, which I think is a Model 3 becau...

Re: Low toned EOWS 612 in wail

That has to be a custom tone, regardless of the controller. If that's not an MCP, it's either a Whelen or an ATI controller. It definitely doesn't sound like any MCP I've ever heard.

Re: Sirens Interrupt News Report

Judging by the wind-up, that second siren sounds like a Thunderbolt 1000 to me. It could also be a 2001 with dying batteries, but I doubt it. It's definitely not a Model 2 or a 3T22.

Re: Low toned EOWS 612 in wail

Weird...It's 1.5 steps lower than a Whelen's wail tone, yet it sounds just like it in every other detail. I didn't think that the pitch could be adjusted on a Whelen controller. I'm assuming that this is a custom wail tone. The lower pitch sounds great on those EOWS speakers.
