I can't get the color to work in quote :? I think he's referring to how you reply to someone within the quote, so not only does their original commentary appear in a white field, but so does your answer. Unlike mine, which shows up outside the quoted text. :X You and Franz are the only ones I've ev...

Awesome finds! I would say that's technically the first 7V8-B (note the large brown box at the bottom of the pole). Also, with the P-10 you have, that's technically an RM-127 because it was made after ACA switched to ASC. Thanks. I honestly can't tell the difference visually between the 3V8-H and 7...

Atkins, AR in Pope county has at least three Thunderbolts that are still in operation. If you could ever get a much larger image of that with the Thunderbolt off to the right and the scenery in the background, that would be quite a picture for a desktop background. :) 6MP version of that picture ab...

Is the fiberglass horns really that heavy, though? Aren't those drivers and metal plate in the back where all the actual weight is at?

Which would mean it only gets power from an AC power source correct? Our Roundback 2001s have battery back up though.
That and Jonesboro has 2001-DC's that have no battery back-up and run totally off AC power only. That 2001-DC I posted above was AC only.

Most of the older belt drive whelens had a find on the back also. Not sure if all the belt drive models did though. I love that fin. I wonder what it's technically called? I always called it a wind deflector. Here's an image for those unknown to it. http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/551/06vq7.jpg ...

I've only ever seen one T-121 and that was in Marked Tree, AR while driving along the interstate. It's a nice looking siren, one of the better looking omni-directional sirens available today.
