It's stands for Severe Weather Awareness (Day/Week). That's usually the day where most states have their annual tornado drill and that can involve activating sirens. Thanks! That's funny because a city nearby me is doing the exact opposite. They're replacing a decade old system of T128's with Whelen's lol.

Greenville doesn't use sirens anymore. They use Reverse 911. Sad fate for all of the sirens there, including another Hurricane.

Here's an absolute classic. Seems like both 3000s in Brighton were dying from low batteries at the same time. The main 3000 kept whining and making very weird pitch fluctuating noises rather than a 700hz alert tone. It seems that the Analog 864 refused to cut off on low batteries? You can also hear...
