2001 DC Test

Wow, haven't been on in a long time, feels great to post something here again.

Siren starts at 51 seconds if you want to skip the strange intro my strange friend insisted that I put in the video.

2001 DC in HD (Interesting Angle)

Here's the Hutchinson, MN 2001 DC again. Of the 7 DC's in town, this is the only one that sounds the attack signal first, then the alert signal! I like how you can hear the siren click on! At 1:35 in the video you can hear the last rotations of the wind down really well. You can also hear that stran...

I was wondering that same thing when I saw this video!

2001 DC (Goofed up Test)

I guess the city goofed up on this test. They normally sound the siren for a minute of alert, then stop for a few seconds, then do a minute of attack. Today they did the alert... no other sirens were heard. We waited about 10 minutes, then decided to leave... As we were leaving it sounded the alert ...

I was thinking about calling the black thunderbolt 1003 the "Phantom Bolt," or "Phantom Siren." Something with phantom in it.

For some reason as I was watching this video my mind kept imagining the siren horn flying off the pole, and winding down as it was falling to the ground.

2001-DC Minnesota Tornado Drill

Just another video of one of Hutchinson's 2001-DC's. It says it's an HD vid but it's not. I just uploaded it in HD so youtube wouldn't destroy the quality. I really was struggling with the wind but, the video turned out much better than I had expected. When I was setting up, the tripod was blown ove...

It appears to be some sort of fuse, but I'm not sure.

Baxter, MN has a Hurricane 130 (square-horned). When I get a car I'll go up there and get a photo of it or even a video, but this won't happen for a while.
