I guess the city goofed up on this test. They normally sound the siren for a minute of alert, then stop for a few seconds, then do a minute of attack. Today they did the alert... no other sirens were heard. We waited about 10 minutes, then decided to leave... As we were leaving it sounded the alert ...

I was thinking about calling the black thunderbolt 1003 the "Phantom Bolt," or "Phantom Siren." Something with phantom in it.

For some reason as I was watching this video my mind kept imagining the siren horn flying off the pole, and winding down as it was falling to the ground.

It appears to be some sort of fuse, but I'm not sure.

Baxter, MN has a Hurricane 130 (square-horned). When I get a car I'll go up there and get a photo of it or even a video, but this won't happen for a while.
